UMNO shadow movement negotiates mass defections in Kedah, Sabah and Johor

THE THIRD FORCE

The Government of Malaysia (GoM) is about to discover the names of the UMNO Shadow Movement’s (UMSM) key recruits when close to five hundred of them defect to various opposition parties this coming week. If the information conveyed to The Third Force earlier today is anything to go by, these mass defections are expected to be centered in the states of Kedah, Johor and Sabah and negotiated with the help of key UMSM leaders in these states.

As we speak, a bulk of these defections are being negotiated via the Dato’ Mohd Shafie Apdal led Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan), a Sabah surrogate concern housing a group of regionalists and those opposed to the leadership of Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak. Shafie was the UMSM’s number three prior to his exit from UMNO. Today, he opened Warisan’s doors to three UMSM leaders in an orchestrated defection that saw these leaders tug along with them a bunch of turncoats, presumably for a fee.

Team Johor is expected to follow suit.

Given that Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) has officially been de-registered by the Registrar of Societies, the party’s former president and UMSM founder, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, is said to be negotiating the defection of close to 200 ordinary UMNO members to PKR through five UMSM leaders in the state. A team lead by former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad will then reciprocate with the defection of an undisclosed number of ordinary UMNO folk in Kedah with the help of three key UMSM agents in the northern state.

UMSM is moving.

The movement is at this very minute deciding which parliamentary and state seats to subvert through acts of sabotage that is likely to involve millions. They’re not planning to remain in the shadows for long – in Sabah, we already have a rough idea who they are given that the very person who led today’s defections as named by the Malay Mail Online is in fact a core member of the UMSM.

For the record, Shafie was tasked with getting as close as he possibly could with both Najib and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor while he was still with UMNO. The former minister was told to infiltrate the very sanctum of Najib’s conscience, such that the Prime Minister and his wife would feel confident enough to entrust him with secrets. When that actually began to happen, Shafie channeled whatever info he received to a Malacca born Dato’ Seri, who then passed the info on to Mahathir Mohamad.
