Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak should reveal the name of the person who he claims told him that Lim Kit Siang suggested to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ahead of the 14th general election to pit Malays against each other and cause their own downfall.
Prior to the 14th general election, TTF had already exposed that Lim Kit Siang was the man behind the idea of setting up PPBM.
However, while TTF did make it known that the plan was to pit the Malays against one another, it is unlikely that the plan was ever conveyed to Mahathir by Lim given that the DAP itself had all along planned to ride on Mahathir’s hatred for Najib to destroy UMNO and split the Malays.
PETALING JAYA: Former premier Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak should reveal the name of the person who told him that Lim Kit Siang suggested to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad ahead of the 14th general election to pit Malays against each other and cause their own downfall.
Speaking to a press conference in Ipoh today, Najib said he would only make known the identity of the person who he says revealed Kit Siang’s plan on Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) if necessary.
“I don’t want to reveal the name of the person, but if necessary I will,” he said.
For the record, prior to the 14th general election, TTF had already exposed the fact that Lim Kit Siang was the man behind the idea of setting up PPBM.
Back then, TTF explained how it was Lim who put forth the idea of having an UMNO surrogate party in PH to weaken the Barisan Nasional component party’s grip on the Malay voter base.
However, it is unlikely that the plan to pit the Malays against one another was ever conveyed to Mahathir by the senior Lim given that the DAP itself had all along planned to ride on Mahathir’s hatred for Najib to destroy UMNO and split the Malays.
So, the idea of “Lim being the man behind PPBM’s formation” is old news. Najib should instead reveal the name of the person who gave him the information to allow others bearing information regarding this ‘mystery person’ to make the information known publicly.
