Thanks to Anwar, Agong’s name being tossed around with extreme prejudice

It is my hope that Istana Negara lodges a police report against Anwar once it is proven that he faked his support list and against pro-Anwar portals and cybertroopers who insulted the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong by discussing the Agong’s constitutional role with prejudice. Source (pic): TTF Files

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s desperate bid to become the ninth Prime Minister of Malaysia has led to the Yang Di Pertuan Agong’s name being tossed around the social media by bloggers and cybertroopers associated with him, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

These cybertroopers are discussing the Agong’s constitutional role with extreme prejudice and in heavily skewed terms, insulting both the royal institution and Federal Constitution of Malaysia in the process to justify their distorted claim that the Government of Malaysia will fall this coming Tuesday, the 13thof October 2020.

The Federal Constitution of Malaysia is clear on the role of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong with regards to the appointment of Prime Minister, the Federal Cabinet and the dissolution of parliament on the advice of the Prime Minister.

However, a false impression has been delivered that a list, bearing the names of parliamentarians who purportedly support Anwar, would lead to a change in government this Tuesday as Anwar would be proven to have majority support in parliament.

Though preposterous and constitutionally flawed, proponents of Anwar and media channels aligned to him are carrying misleading statements to this effect day in day out, plunging share prices and driving away investors in the process.

Even if the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong were to entertain what has since come to be known as “the Anwar list” and proceed to call upon Members of Parliament one by one, the correct thing for Muhyiddin to do would be to call for a special Dewan Rakyat sitting to table a motion of no confidence against him.

Not only would this enable Muhyiddin to gauge his support, it is the responsible thing do as it would help him fend off critics and restore confidence among investors in Malaysian politics.

However, should the motion work against Muhyiddin’s favour, he would either have to resign as Prime Minister along with members of the Federal Cabinet or advice the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong to dissolve parliament.

That having been said, it is my hope that the ruler does proceed to interview each and every Member of Parliament to discover who truly commands majority support.

This would help prove my contention that Anwar prepared a fake list built on empty promises by people like Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who offered to swing the whole of UMNO towards Anwar but failed to deliver.

As for WARISAN, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal turned Anwar down flat and even refused a proposal by Muhyiddin, said to involve bringing WARISAN into Perikatan Nasional with offers of positions and what have you.

Not only is Anwar short on numbers, his support, previously at 91, has dwindled way below the 90 mark. Muhyiddin, on the other hand, is worse off than Anwar and is clinging on to a position he no longer deserves.

It is my hope that Istana Negara lodges a police report against Anwar once it is proven that he faked his support list and against pro-Anwar portals and cybertroopers who insulted the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong by discussing the Agong’s constitutional role with prejudice.

As it is, several Members of Parliament have already lodged police reports, denying their role in helping Anwar bring down the federal government.
