PPBM’s Redzuan must be high on ketum to think Mahathir may join Muafakat Nasional

“UMNO is dishwash unless PAS agrees to use the Barisan Nasional flag, in which case, PAS will become dishwasher.  That is to say, the whole concept of Muafakat Nasional is really “Barisan Nasional riding on PAS to steal PAS votes,” which technically means Muafakat Nasional is non existent. So why the hell would Mahathir want PEJUANG to join something that is non existent?”

PPBM Supreme Council member Mohd Redzuan Yusof can quit spreading fairy tales about the possibility of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad joining Muafakat Nasional and focus on the possibility of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) collapsing instead.

In a desperate attempt to confuse PPBM leaders and grassroots, Redzuan, who is well aware that PPBM is days away from becoming toast, has floated the idea that Mahathir is considering teaming up with PAS and UMNO via Muafakat Nasional.

Well, let me be the first to tell Redzuan that Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (PEJUANG) is a patriotic outfit founded on principles of truth, justice, integrity and loyalty, qualities Redzuan and his two-timing bunch of half past six renegades will never be able to grasp.

With the near collapse of PPBM in the states of Kedah, Selangor, Perak and the ongoing mass exodus of leaders and grassroots all across Malaysia, PPBM is on the verge of turning from fish to fishbone and will soon be something you would want to feed a cat, not Mahathir.

As it is, Mahathir already enjoys the support of UMNO’s Team B, WARISAN, over two thirds of PPBM and several others from PKR (anti-Anwar), and not to mention, leaders and MPs from AMANAH, DAP, Sabah and Sarawak.

It is only a matter of time before the Perikatan Nasional led government crumbles, and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin now has the daunting task of either calling for a snap general election or throwing in the towel and calling it a day.

No amount of intimidation tactics, fake news or rumours is going to derail the inevitable as the majority of political leaders, activists, grassroots and the rakyat are sick and tired of the current state of affairs in the country.

And let’s not forget the mess both UMNO and PAS are in.

Initially, PAS was trying hard to keep UMNO in check by clinging on to PPBM via Perikatan Nasional, hoping that Muhyiddin’s grassroots support and the sheer size of PPBM would prevent UMNO from bullying PAS.

However, now that PPBM is slipping away from Muhyiddin’s grip, UMNO is going back to its old “big brother” ways by making all sorts of claims without fist consulting PAS, including the possibility of the Islamic party contesting in the 15thgeneral election under the Barisan Nasional banner.

This has put PAS on the horns of a very troublesome and gruesome dilemma, as not only is Mahathir’s Third Force Bloc about to pounce on Perikatan Nasional like a cat on a mouse, should PAS refuse to come to its senses and enter the general election with UMNO, it will be bye-bye PAS and bye-bye UMNO.

That’s because the majority of its supporters are losing confidence in the concept of Muafakat Nasional seeing how the coalition has yet to be registered with the Registrar of Societies and how PAS and UMNO are consistently at odds with each other over Perikatan Nasional.

The fact that former Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said came clean on the non-existence of Muafakat Nasional in Terengganu does little to help, as does the fact that PAS-UMNO suffered a 10.1 per cent drop in the Malay-Muslim vote in Chini.

Should PAS use its own flag during the 15thgeneral election, its supporters would want to know why Muafakat Nasional was never registered.

Should the party contest using the Barisan Nasional flag instead, its supporters would want to know why the party did not use its own flag.

Either way, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s goose will be cooked.

And either way, UMNO is dishwash unless PAS agrees to use the Barisan Nasional flag, in which case, PAS will become dishwasher. That is to say, the whole concept of Muafakat Nasional is really “Barisan Nasional riding on PAS to steal PAS votes,” which technically means Muafakat Nasional is non existent.

So why the hell would Mahathir want PEJUANG to join something that is non existent?
