PAS vice-president Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah claims some Members of Parliament from Pakatan Harapan might switch their support and join the opposition.
Amar, who denied that some PAS MPs are planning to support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s government, made the claim after delivering a Friday morning lecture.
Recently, a prominent opposition member told an activist on TikTok that something will happen “very soon.”
However, he added that he would not reveal the ‘strategy’ as it could lead to a ‘tragedy’.
What he meant is open to interpretation, but he appeared to be referring to the downfall of Anwar’s government.
PAS vice-president Amar Nik Abdullah claims some Members of Parliament from Pakatan Harapan might switch their support and join the opposition.
Amar, who denied that some PAS MPs are planning to support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s government, made the claim after delivering a Friday morning lecture.
“What we have heard is that there may be MPs from Pakatan Harapan who might switch their support and join the opposition,” he said.
He added that it was common for an opposition MP to be in the backbenchers’ room at Parliament House, where government MPs gather.
“I did so many times when I was in Parliament. It’s common to go in, have a coffee, and meet with friends in that room.
“For us, there’s nothing to it. Just going in for a drink of water is very common.”
