Noh Omar retains Tg Karang chief post

TANJONG KARANG: Selangor Umno liaison committee chairman Tan Sri Noh Omar has retained his post as the party’s Tanjong Karang division chief at the delegates meeting here today.




Noh, who is also Tanjong Karang Member of Parliament, won the position uncontested.

Former Permatang assemblyman Datuk Sulaiman Abd Razak is now the division’s deputy chief.

Sulaiman’s new post was previously held by Sungai Burong assemblyman, Datuk Mohd Shamsudin Lias, who had decided not to contest.

The post of the division’s vice-chief has been filled by Hashim Zakaria, who also won uncontested.
