“I was in the midst of exposing that conspiracy when, on the 4th of September 2017, I was met by one of Phee’s men (assuming he was who he said he was). The ‘go-between’ requested for three months to ‘correct the situation’ and showed proof that Phee was “cooperating with the MACC” on all accounts”
THE THIRD FORCE
Lim Guan Eng says he has “all the facts” regarding the upcoming CEC re-election (refer report below). But records show that the Chief Minister of Penang is prone to telling us anything but the truth. The Kampung Sungai Lembu illegal factory issue is one good example.
When the issue first blew up, Guan Eng undertook to declassify meeting minutes which I later proved were highly irregular. Worried that the authorities would sniff out a conspiracy between Phee Boon Poh and the factory owner, he began to tell one lie after another and, in the process, drove his reputation further and further into a tailspin.
Just so that you know, I was in the midst of exposing that conspiracy when, on the 4th of September 2017, I was met by one of Phee’s men (assuming he was who he said he was). The ‘go-between’ requested for three months to ‘correct the situation’ and showed proof that Phee was “cooperating with the MACC” on all accounts.
I gave the ‘go-between’ two months instead, telling him to either come clean on the entire multimillion ringgit conspiracy or to convince me that the MACC knew how Phee benefitted from the factory’s operations. We’re still in touch, so let’s see how that goes.
Still, nothing changes the fact that both Lim and Phee are great liars. The duo pretended to not know about a letter the DOE issued to MPSP when in fact, Phee himself read its content out during an assembly sitting days after it was issued.
The Chief Minister also made several Mahathir styled U-turns. First, he claimed that the factory did not pose a problem to villagers, only to concede later that it did in fact bring negative impact on them. The admission probably burnt a big hole through his ego.
So big was that hole, he got his health exco to declare days later that the incidence of cancer in the village had nothing to do with the plumes of carcinogenic fumes that billowed from the confines of the factory.
Yes, Guan Eng is prone to saying one thing today and using his men to say the exact opposite the very next day. Let’s wait and see what the Chief Minister of Penang is going to reveal during the intended press conference (read below).
Hopefully, it won’t be another one of his fairy tales or attempt to accuse Barisan National of conspiring with the RoS to destroy the DAP.

Report by Bernama:
GEORGE TOWN: DAP secretary-general, Lim Guan Eng said they are preparing documents in relation to the directive of the Registrar of Societies (RoS) that the party conduct a re-election of the Central Executive Committee (CEC).
“It is only appropriate that I address this issue at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur. I have all the facts here,” he told reporters, here yesterday.
On July 17, the DAP received a letter from the RoS that directed the party to hold a re-election of the CEC since he did not acknowledge the result of DAP’s election on Dec 15, 2012 and re-election on Sept 29, 2013.
DAP vice-chairman Teresa Kok was reported as saying the re-election was proposed for Sept 10.
